If only I could tap into that existence, above the ruts of the mundane of life and live on a higher plane, an indescribably broader, richer and more vivid perspective. The alpenglow of sunrise enveloping the dark peaks and valleys with vibrant rose red hues... I wish the alpenglow would always gleam in my life

alpenglow and life
What is it about the alpine that strikes such a spiritual chord within me? It is almost as if something is awakened, a deep insatiable longing for something... something so distant and indistinct and yet almost familiar, as if once known in the deep past.

Hi Josh, thought I'd Look at your blog and it looks like it's been a while sinceyou've "bloged" so to speak. And since this is the "comment" spot... it"s the feeling of (not that it's so describeable) ..rest, or like, home ,maybe like haveing held one's breath for a long time and finally getting to breath again, except without the pysical- lung part,so to speak. In other words, I know the feeling, and I miss it when I'm too busy to escape to the Lords mountains. It is our Lords way of giving His kids just a hint of home. Because a hint is all we can handle. P.S. then He will through in a good blast of a storm to remind us we are not home yet..... May our Lord Jesus bless you as you walk with him. MZ
